DEVELOPMENT OF A METHODOLOGY FOR THE MANAGEMENT CONTROL AT THE TRANSPORT VIRTUAL COMPANIES. CONSTRUCTION OF A SUPPORT SOFTWARE TOOL

Goals: The present Scientific Research and Technological development project was raised with the aim of defining a methodology for management control at the virtual transport companies and to develop as support to this methodology a software tool to measure the indicators and evaluate the management results. The result of the project allowed to:
Develop the mechanisms for (1) measuring and evaluating the suitability of the Virtual Company management as much in its whole as in each of the group's components and (2) to carry out a suitable action plan
To develop a support software tool for the deployment of the methodology. The central part of the system is formed by a group of indicators defined according to the business aims to measure the results obtained and taking into consideration, different perspectives, decisions levels and action area
All the results obtained were applied and evaluated at the CAVE Transport Group, a Virtual Company made up by more of 45 small and medium business that collaborated in this project
