ENTERPRISE 2.0: Using 2.0 technologies in business management. Application to an Association of relatives of Alzehimer illness

Objective: Internet 2.0 technologies have become an effective tool which improves enterprise competitiveness with an excellent cost-results ratio. The possibilities that it offers for making relationships among the different stakeholder in the enterprise (customers, employees, suppliers, Public Administrations, partner enterprises, and so forth), by means of sharing information, that plays a crucial role in business processes management, is going to produce a radical change in the way that business are made. To adapt to this new situation, enterprises not only should be prepared to incorporate technological tools, but also may transform its corporate culture, process, structure, and, definitely, its business model. So, the application of Internet 2.0 technologies in enterprise management (which is named Enterprise 2.0) is an extremely complex process that involves technological, human, culture and organizational aspects.
Within this framework, the goal of this research project is presented. This goal can be summarized in strengthen the adoption of the Enterprise 2.0 model by means of (1) a methodology composed of a set of stages which is the guide to follow during the implantation of the Enterprise 2.0 model, the reengineering of business processes, human resources management, design processes, change management and (2) the development of a software application for the management of the technologies 2.0 used by the enterprise and it will allow the identification, extraction and processing of the information underlying in the 2.0 technologies that the enterprise has, distributing it to the appropriated human resource as a support for decision making, and (3) a set of success stories. For data gathering, requirements elicitation, application and validation of the results, and the generation of success stories which will serve as a reference, one organization collaborate in this project: An Association for Alzheimer research and support.
